I can’t believe that summer is officially over. \u00a0Before we know it October will be here. \u00a0It starts getting colder at night and the leaves start to fall off the trees. \u00a0October also signifies something very important, Breast Cancer awareness month. \u00a0Did you know that over 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually?\u00a0\u00a0When I read this statistic I\u00a0was floored as that seemed like a whole lot of people. \u00a0The good news is if you diagnose it early, Breast Cancer has a high rate of being cured. \u00a0So women should always be checked by a doctor every few years.<\/p>\n

Breast Cancer has really stepped into the national spotlight with October being the official awareness month. \u00a0There are many ways Americans are getting the word out about this curable disease. \u00a0During the entire month of October, NFL players wear pink on their uniforms whether it be in the form of gloves, shoes, or other accessories. \u00a0The NFL is the most popular sport in the country so it really helps get the word out to everyone about Breast Cancer \u00a0There are also many walk-a-thons that take place during October throughtout the country.<\/p>\n

Here at The Adair Group, we show our support for the cure by offering a pink ribbon tie dye t-shirt <\/a>that is great to promote awareness regarding the disease.
