{"id":359,"date":"2013-03-07T15:31:16","date_gmt":"2013-03-07T20:31:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theadairgroup.com\/blog\/?p=359"},"modified":"2015-02-24T12:22:58","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T17:22:58","slug":"how-to-choose-screen-printers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theadairgroup.com\/blog\/how-to-choose-screen-printers\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Choose a Screen Printer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">A question we get all the time is &#8220;Do you guys screen print?&#8221;\u00a0and the answer is no.\u00a0 We specialize in selling the <a title=\"Blank T-Shirts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theadairgroup.com\/t-shirts\/\" target=\"_blank\">blank t-shirts<\/a>\u00a0 at low prices.\u00a0 By buying the blanks from us and taking them to a screen printer you can save money on your total cost because the printer usually makes money on the blank shirt as well as on the print.\u00a0 When our customers realize we don&#8217;t print, the next question is always &#8220;Do you know a screen printer?&#8221;\u00a0 The answer is yes but it comes with a &#8220;but.&#8221;.\u00a0 We know many printers but it is hard to recommend one because different customers have different needs.\u00a0 So we thought we would give you a road map for choosing\u00a0the right\u00a0screen printer for your needs.\u00a0 There are many things to consider when\u00a0picking a screen printer.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">1.\u00a0 <strong>Price<\/strong>.\u00a0 How important is price to you?\u00a0 Do you want the best print process possible because if you do that is more expensive.\u00a0 Or perhaps you just want the cheapest price and a heat transfer would suffice.\u00a0 Often times you get what you pay for but certain events do not require a high end print while others do.\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">2.\u00a0 <strong>Lead Time<\/strong>.\u00a0 Some printers have a quicker turnaround than others.\u00a0 I know printers that run night shifts and can often times get your product turned around in a couple days. Other prints can take weeks.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">3.\u00a0 <strong>Geography<\/strong>.\u00a0 This one is similar to lead time but I thought it deserved its own bullet point.\u00a0 How important is it that your printer is nearby?\u00a0 Do want to meet them face to face?\u00a0 Do you want to see the facility and examine your shirts as they come off the press.\u00a0 Or does that matter.\u00a0 If you are printing a ton of shirts freight could be expensive if you are getting them printed out of state.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">4.\u00a0 <strong>Reputation<\/strong>.\u00a0 You want to make sure your printer has a good reputation.\u00a0 Ask to see work they have done.\u00a0 Ask to speak to other customers who have used their services.\u00a0 How long have they been in business?\u00a0 How updated is their printing equipment?
