St. Patrick\u2019s Day is a very big deal around the world. In America, big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, wearing green, music and songs and Irish food and drinks.\u00a0 Some cities even go as far as dying rivers or streams green!\u00a0 Although I am not Irish even in the slightest bit, I do still very much enjoy celebrating St. Patrick\u2019s Day every year.\u00a0 Even though it is not an actual holiday in America, it\u2019s perhaps one of the most celebrated non-government sanctioned holidays in our country.\u00a0 All in honor of the patron saint of Ireland who, legend has it, banished snakes from that beautiful island.\u00a0 It\u2019s a day when everybody is Irish and just about everyone wears at least a little splash of green.<\/p>\n

Will you be celebrating St. Patrick's day this year?<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

You better be wearing some green on St. Patrick\u2019s Day so you don\u2019t get pinched!\u00a0 Many people get together with their friends and family members for a party or head to a pub to drink some infamous green beer.\u00a0 I mean seriously, who doesn\u2019t love green beer?!\u00a0 I know I drink it every St. Patrick\u2019s Day at my favorite Irish pub! \u00a0And let\u2019s not forget the St. Patrick\u2019s Day parades which are held in cities across the country from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to New York City. \u00a0My family and I attend the St. Patrick\u2019s Day parade here in Atlanta every year and always have such a great time!\u00a0 And, of course, we head on over to the St. Patrick\u2019s Day festival following the parade so we all can enjoy some live entertainment, delicious Irish food and to get\u00a0 St. Patrick\u2019s Day t-shirts<\/a> as a souvenir.\u00a0 I personally have a very large collection of green t-shirts with everything from leprechauns to shamrocks to pots of gold on them from my many years of attending St. Patrick\u2019s Day parades and festivals.\u00a0 Even if you are not Irish, we all become Irish on St. Patrick\u2019s Day so go out and celebrate, watch a parade, eat, drink and dance a little Irish jig and the luck o\u2019 the Irish be with you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"St. Patrick\u2019s Day is a very big deal around the world.
