{"id":191,"date":"2012-02-14T12:42:51","date_gmt":"2012-02-14T17:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theadairgroup.com\/blog\/?p=191"},"modified":"2015-02-24T14:32:00","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T19:32:00","slug":"valentines-day-t-shirts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theadairgroup.com\/blog\/valentines-day-t-shirts\/","title":{"rendered":"Valentine&#8217;s Day T-Shirts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Valentine\u2019s Day right around the corner love is definitely in the air here at The Adair Group.\u00a0 February 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 2012 is fast approaching so there is no better time than now to talk about this day of love.\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day isn\u2019t all about flowers, candy and expensive dinners.\u00a0 It has a historical background too.\u00a0 Although it is sometimes debated, Valentine\u2019s Day definitely links back to a Catholic saint named St. Valentine.\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day is a church sanctioned holiday as Pope Gelasius deemed February 14<sup>th<\/sup> St. Valentine\u2019s Day somewhere near 498 A.D.\u00a0\u00a0 To this day it is still unclear exactly who the celebrated saint of love really was as the Catholic Church acknowledges three separate saints named Valentine; one a priest, one a bishop and there is little known about the third however all three were martyrs.\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day began to gain popularity around the 17<sup>th<\/sup> and 18<sup>th<\/sup>centuries when friends and lovers of all social classes began to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes.\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day is celebrated not just in the United States but in Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, France and Australia as well.
