Life at TAG During the Holidays
The Holidays always mark an interesting time around The Adair Group. Perhaps you have a similar feeling in your business or home. For us it means several things.
Holiday Shipments to Retailers– The end of November and early December means making sure our retail chain customers get their bulk shipments before the holidays. After all, if they don’t have it in the stores by December they are not going to have it. It is always hectic during this time but always worth it.
Cyber Monday– Cyber Monday continues to grow and we enjoygiving our online customers special savings. We always run our biggest sale of the year during this time so if you missed us this year make sure you don’t next year. It’s not often we discount because our prices are so low. Cyber Monday is especially special at TAG for that reason.
Inventory– The end of the year always means physical inventory. Like we always say, if you purchase from us we have your products in our warehouse that way we can ensure that you get exactly what you order and we don’t have to depend on any 3rd party to ship everything. Because all of our product is here, that means we have to count it to make sure the numbers are accurate. This is not a fun exercise but is critical to our business.
Parties– It’s not all work around here. We often have two parties during the holidays. One the week of Thanksgiving and the other before Christmas. This year we took the staff to Maggiano’s for some great Italian food. Everybody works hard so it’s always fun to get away, let our hair down, and have a good time with Co-Workers. I think the plan for Christmas is to have a catered lunch.
So that is what life is like around a wholesale t-shirt company. We also give our employees a few days off between Christmas and New Year’s. This gives everyone a chance to recharge their batteries, spend quality time with family, and get ready for the year ahead.
We have many exciting things coming in 2015, the biggest being a whole new website that totally rocks. We can’t wait for our best year ever. Until then, have a happy holiday season.
